Alliance at SuperCorrExpo 2004

November 8-12, 2004

Every four years the corrugated industry's technical and association groups, TAPPI and AICC sponsor an equipment show. TAPPI is the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry and AICC is the Association of Independent Corrugated Converters. The last two equipment shows have been held in Atlanta, with the most recent held the week of November 8, 2004.

This year the show had over 7,500 attendees from throughout the world. This was a great opportunity to come face to face with most of our customers. We had Chris Ward from Europe, Ron Spice for South American visitors and Andy Olson covering Australia. We also had all of the AMSI sales force available for North American customers.

The show was a big success for Alliance largely due to our new ALF MAX product that was on display and the highly professional booth presentation of our products. When ALF MAX ran its demo, usually three times a day, the aisles around the machine were four and five people deep of watching it perform. The comments about ALF MAX were all positive with people telling us we have a WINNER.

On Friday of SuperCorr week at the AICC General Assembly, Alliance was presented the INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR first place award. Rick Wilkinson, VP of Sales and Marketing, accepted the award from Jerry Frisch AICC Innovations Committee Chairman. Alliance was one of twenty five original entries from companies worldwide.
