ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES MANUFACTURING CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
Alliance Machine Systems International, LLC has announced that, as part of a broader capacity and continuous quality/efficiency improvement plan, it is centralizing its US manufacturing activities into one center of excellence located in Spokane, Washington. The J&L Specialty Folder Gluer, previously manufactured in Keithville, Louisiana, will now be manufactured in Spokane. The transition will be complete by mid-summer, 2009. Earlier this year, as part of the same improvement plan, products previously manufactured in the Alliance Netherlands satellite manufacturing site were moved to Spokane.
This change, which only affects Alliance’s internal manufacturing structure, will secure for customers continuous high quality product and delivery performance. The offices in Keithville, LA and Bladel, Netherlands will continue to serve as dedicated, comprehensive operations for Sales, Service and Technical Support activities.
