Direct Drive Eliminates The Mechanical Connections Between Modules.
This is true modular construction with no mechanical connection between
modules, allowing for easy future expansion as your business grows
or markets change.
On 96" and larger machines, each upper and lower carrier belt
has its own direct drive motor synchronized and controlled electronically
for perfect uniformity of travel at any belt speed. This eliminates
the need for line shafts, bevel gears, V-belts, drive and rotating
cross shafts, resulting in the first truly modular folder/gluer.
Speed changes are simplified because all functions of the machine
read and follow the belt speed change.

TOTAL
ACCESSIBILITY from either side of the machine. Access is not
inhibited by drive line and rotating cross shafts. The operator
can easily walk through during setup.
The absence of cross shafts, adjusting screws, line shafts, and
other obstacles, coupled with center mounting of carriers, results
in unmatched machine accessibility. All belts can be changed without
pulling shafts or gears. Center mounting of all upper and lower
carriers on the track roller guidance system precludes the need
for troublesome adjusting screws, chains, and sprockets, resulting
in "finger tip" lateral adjustment of all carriers and quick setups.
Safety concerns are minimized by the lack of entrapment zones
and excellent egress provided by the modular design. A light curtain
and abrupt stop drives protect the operator. Noise levels associated
with the equipment are well below the requirement for hearing protection.
